Notes:  You need to edit the "Mean" column to be the mean of the control lanes.  Then, you estimate the standard deviation of the actin level (~sigma column) which involves finding the range and dividing by 6. Next, you'll take the average actin levels from all lanes within the gel.  Then, you calculate your limits ("ends") as 3 standard deviations from the mean actn levels.  Finally, you use these ends to exclude lanes from your columns in M and N.  This will leave them out of the graphs and statistics.
